The condition of Renekton by Romanium - Rank 30 Challenger NA
Hi, My name is Romanium using this program . considered by many people to be the worlds greatest Renekton player. I've been in Challenger/Master approximately per year, primarily winning games and climbing with Renekton. Renektons role has changed vastly through the length of this recently. Many remember season 3 top lane, where Renekton was this early game bully who destroy all melees in the early game. However, a lot of you can even remember fondly the unique falling around the Thirty minute mark of Renekton that was considered during the time one of Renektons biggest weaknesses.
Skip forward per year or two, and it is late season 5. Little Romanium was lets start work on a quest-find a build that could permit him to not simply retain his early game bully status, but additionally allow ease into late game without having to be a meat-shield. After months of theory-crafting I finally developed a build that could change my vision of Renekton forever. I developed the famous Romanium build-the Full AD Renekton build.
This is during a period where I knew almost nobody that had done this build well, and it was quite the task to try and result in the build work. The total AD build did work! The first game strength was retained and maybe even stronger than ever before. I had created no issue with falling late game since Renekton had these massive AD ratios and also the build complemented the kit so well. One major weakness of Renekton was eliminated, and that i may even see the impact in win rate in ranked already. I went from low Diamond to Master in around A couple of months. Skip ahead six months, I finally had hit my goal of Challenger.
You now may be wondering, Romanium how on the globe can you utilize this glass-cannon build and still carry games on the champion like Renekton, who'd to stay in the centre of a battle to complete anything right? It absolutely was a very strong question, the one that I seriously couldnt answer until I looked at my personal replays in Master ranked games. I'd personally watch my own matches again and again until I acquired bored and played my very own league game. Furthermore, i watched SoloRenektonOnlys Renekton games and thats when my answer struck-my play style with my Renekton was totally different from SoloRenektonOnlys tanky bruiser build he was using generally in most of his videos.
A different way to Play
Tanky Renekton builds have become limited in the options for continuation. You get a kill in lane with tanky Renekton, but then what? Snowballing with tanky Renekton is actually impossible with the way his kit works. None of his abilities scale with tanky stats. His base stats are mediocre, she has no real contribution in team fights apart from an empowered W, which after you will have no damage and be kited to death. Renekton has each one of these massive AD Ratios that once a couple of AD products are built, the snowballing is exponentially grown, each and every AD item powering Renekton up more. Whats that about Renekton falling? Not anymore. We actually scale stronger in to the late game. Dont tell me a 225% AD ratio 1.5 stun will leave only purchase a ravenous hydra, Youmuus Ghostblade, as well as a Black Cleaver and strive to buy more AD. The injury you'll deal will overwhelm and catapult the sport into your lead by almost really not doing anything by either splitting or fighting in small skirmishes. Renektons split potential goes off the charts when you're capable to just tiamat and q the waves to death or being able to one shot the enemy laner under turret using your massive damage and continue killing turrets. Renektons skirmishing ability in my opinion could be the strongest within the game-just one shot the squishiest guy inside the skirmish and you win the skirmish, or make use of your AOE abilities to deal massive problems for both the enemies(considering a 2v2 skirmish).
Now lets get back to the issue: how can i transfer leads using a glass-cannon build in team fights? The method that you play Renekton in team fights while going Full AD is incredibly unique. You have to play team fights just like how a real crocodile in the wild kills its prey. You hide in the back, waiting for the enemy ADC or Mage(the crocodiles prey) to generate a wrong move, than you immediately pop youmuus, Flash or E on top of the enemy, hit him with the empowered W, and just like a crocodile does together with his prey, cling on and don't release. Hit him having a Q, and E to the direction he could be running off to and you should have your hair a nice meal. Now now your massive health pool from a Ultimate, Dominus, should activate and allow that you escape, or transition in a bruiser-ish play style for the rest of the c's fight.
